COVID-19 Update

At The Painting Hub, we place the health and safety of our customers and employees at the forefront. While the Ontario government has given us the green light to open our business back up, we are not naïve to believe it will be business as usual. Our goal is provide the best quality product, as we always have, while ensuring there is no risk to our clients or crews. For this reason, we have implemented the following protocols:

Our painters, site supervisors, and estimators must acknowledge the following before starting any project:

  • I have no known symptoms associated with COVID-19 (cough, fever, tiredness, difficulty breathing, etc.)
  • I have not travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days
  • I have not, to my knowledge, come into contact with anyone that has travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days
  • I have not, to my knowledge, come into contact with anyone that is experiencing symptoms or may have contracted COVID-19
  • I have taken all recommended precautions as per the advice of the World Health Organization and the Government of Canada
  • If any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 arise while on site, I will immediately vacate the premises, and alert management of The Painting Hub Inc. for further action
  • I agree to comply with all federal, provincial and municipal laws, regulations and orders

Best practices to be followed:

  • Only enter areas of the job site / home that you are immediately working in
  • Limit touching of surfaces and handles if/when possible
  • Discuss with site supervisor / homeowner which area/sink can be used to wash tools
  • Discuss with site supervisor / homeowner which washroom has been designated safe to use
  • Keep a safe distance (6 feet or more) from site supervisors, home owners, customers, other trades people, or anyone that may be on your job site.
  • Follow all recommended best practices by the WHO and Health Canada, including but not limited to, washing your hands frequently, not touching your face, coughing into your elbow, and using hand sanitizer when available
  • If available, wear masks and gloves when working
  • Disinfectant your equipment and tools frequently using a solution of 70% alcohol or approved over the counter disinfectant
  • Disinfect all areas that you had worked in at the end of each day, using a solution of 70% alcohol or approved over the counter disinfectant; this includes but is not limited to door handles/knows, counters, faucets/taps, etc.
